F. 15 I am still feeling quite weak today from the constant pain, though I am now relieved of one of them The carbuncle on my wrist is of formidable dimensions, the largest I have ever had, though not the most painful This keeps me still in a weak & feverish state

I send down to Wiley 4 boxes Isabella & 2 boxes Catawba grapes 

S. 16 The carbuncle began to discharge yesterday, but is still sore & painful I am very weak this morning. For two nights past I have had copious & debilitating sweats, which I have not had to accompany previous attacks of this kind. I shall go in to consult the Dr this morning
