T. 7 Sue continues the same, Pulse & temperature fluctuating, but always some fever
W, 8 Edward Lucas & Carrie left us this morning for Florence via 
Charleston. Lizzie Cain went with them & will stop at Moncks Corner. 
Sue about the same. Th. 9 Very hot, Sue about the same. Passed a good night & feels a little better. F. 10 Sue about the same. Fine shower today. Young Burneman Mrs Klattes son died on Monday & was buried yesterday. S 11 Sue we hope is doing better, temp. & pulse show an abatement of the fever
Sunday 12 Sue is not so well today - temp. at 103, M. 13 Very severe storm of thunder, lightning & rain last night about 1 A M.
Sue is better today temp. reduced & feels better. T. 14 Sue continues to improve Lyds birth day - born 14 July 1839 = 46 years. 
W. 15 Sue continues convalescent - her temp. & pulse nearly to normal standard. She begins to have an appetite & crave food which is a favourable sign. We hope now if no untoward event occurs, she may continue to gain strength. T. 16 Sue continues to convalesce -
Temp. & pulse have subsided to normal condition, & her appetite has returned, She takes a piece of rear beef steak every few hours, but only the juice. We hope now, that if no unfavourable turn takes place she may continue to gain strength daily. Will Washbourn is very sick, something like typhoid fever. He has been running down for sometime past. F 17 Sue continues to regain her strength.
Brighton & Monroe grapes ripening. F 18 Sue continues to improve
Sunday 19. Sue continues to improve. M 20 Wash Mosely died last night, - hard drinking. T. 21 Sue continues to improve, & sits up a part of the day in rocking chair Showery.
